The boats are all built to a strict One Design rule.
This restricts what can be changed, although there is the ability to personalize the non-skid arrangement on the boat.Â
Who builds the sails?
The sails can be made by any sailmaker but made to the class rules
Does the VX Air use the Spreader Rake Adjustor?
Yes, the spreader rake adjustor (SRA) can be used on the VX Air rig. The SRA is allows you to adjust the angle of the carbon spreaders to create different mast bends and power settings to match your sails and sailing style. You can tune your rig to fit a wide range of crew weights.Â
